Firestone EPDM Pond Liner
Made from commercial-grade rubber, Firestone EPDM liner is the ideal membrane for retaining water in commercial and residential dams, garden ponds, fishponds, artificial lakes, reflection pools, swimming pools, golf course water features, streams, waterfalls and fountains. Firestone EPDM liner will not crack or split like inferior PVC and plastic pond liners. The tough rubber also makes it extremely difficult to puncture (that said, we recommend you use an underlay beneath the liner to protect it from sharp objects on the floor of your pond/dam).

FEATURES
Thicker than competitors
Our Firestone EPDM pond liner is 1.14 mm thick… substantially thicker than competitors 1.02mm liners. This makes it more durable and longer lasting.
Natural looking
Unlike cheaper plastic liners that can fill with air pockets or have unsightly ridges where the plastic has gathered, Firestone EPDM pond liner presents a seamless look—no air pockets or ridges. The mat finish of the rubber also looks great in the wild and doesn’t detract from the natural surroundings, unlike plastic liners that can make ponds/dams look unnatural. And with great UV protection (see below), Firestone EPDM liner doesn’t fade or deteriorate over time like plastics. So, it’ll continue to look great, even decades on.
Extreme weather resistant (-45°C to 50+°C)
Firestone EPDM pond liners offer excellent resistance to extreme UV exposure and temperatures, oxidation, and frost. Designed to stand the test of time, even in our harsh Aussie sun, Firestone’s EPDM liner remains durable in temperatures well over 50°C and flexible (and workable) in temperatures as low as -45°C. Being a rubber material, Firestone EPDM liners also don’t suffer from microbial attacks or algae growth, thus they last much longer.
Super flexible (>300% stretch)
Firestone EPDM pond liners offer unrivalled flexibility while remaining strong and durable. The elasticity of the rubber is greater than 300% even at -45°C. This means you can easily stretch the membrane to support all shapes and sizes of ponds/dams in all types of environments.
Safe for humans, and the environment
Certified to be safe for humans, fish, and plants, Firestone EPDM pond liners are made of rubber so they don’t leach nasty chemicals into the water or surrounding environment (this is not the case with plastic liners). This makes Firestone EPDM liners particularly ideal for swimming holes and fish ponds/dams.
20-year guarantee
All Firestone EPDM pond liners are backed by an industry leading 20-year guarantee. Although, you can expect your liner to last much longer. As mentioned above, the oldest Firestone EPDM liner in the wild is almost 50 years old (installed in an irrigation dam in Spain in 1973) and it’s still going strong!

Add an underlay
We recommend you use an underlay to protect your liner. While EPDM liner is extremely tough, the weight of water (often many tonnes) in a dam/pond pressed against rocks, sticks or other sharp objects can cause tears. Underlay protects your liner from such damage. We sell underlay for $3.95/m2.
QUICK AND EASY INSTALLATION
Firestone EPDM liner is very easy to work with and adaptable to any pond design regardless of the complexity. Even after years of use, the liner is easy to rearrange, or even pull up for re-use in a different pond. The high elasticity of the membrane makes the rubber liner easy to stretch and bend while remaining tough and durable. The liner is also easy to cut to size and join together—simply use Firestone accessories available here.
